Two Day Yak & Trek
The two day guided trip is set up for those that would like to venture deeper into the Alaskan sea and mountain experience. Kachemak Bay has an incredible diversity of hiking/paddling options within striking distance of our basecamp. Link up world class hiking trails with world class water trails. The extra day and night at our basecamp brings a good deal more into focus.

The two day trip will appeal to those that may desire a camping trip, but do not want to travel with all the gear or camp in the rain. It appeals to those who may be considering the lodge experience but do not have the time for a mandatory longer stay or perhaps can not afford the highend full service lodge. We are a great alternative with the emphasis on healthy active outdoor living. Participants need not have kayaking experience nor be serious athletes, however should be in reasonable condition with a good range of mobility.

Yak & Trek basecamp is a non smoking camp. Your stay will be in private rustic cabins with sheltered decks and outstanding seaviews. Purposely not a hotel room as we want to maintain the feel of Alaskan camping, however with the convience and comfort of wood heat and clean linens. Each cabin is provided with comfortable beds, wash basins, and stoves for making hot drinks. We offer catered meals in the field and a community barbecue at camp in the evening.
